Narcissa (Original Poetry)
"Narcissa come kiss us"
the horrid horde flattered
she knelt beside a puddle
unaware of the hazard
she glimpsed her reflection
in her eyes were wings
the fluttering flock obliterated
the notion of feminine sin
The depth of her fall
agitated the strays
ignorant and ignored
they demanded her gaze
Mesmerized by her own image
She splashed in the puddle
Eyes locked- a still ocean
she yielded no rebuttal
They pushed her into the water
held her down
her struggle payment
until she'd drown
