PLIGHT OF A NATION
The sun has lost its beauty and the moon lurks in the darkness forever,stalling its light and making the nights darker.The green pastures has lost their colors and the animals hide deeper in the wilderness away from the hunter's gun.
A nation has lost her identity,corrupted by colonization and blinded by the luxury of white collar jobs meant for the educated few out of a lump of her illiterate masses.Now poverty is her tormentor,holding her captive and forcing her to his biddings.
Her children are suffering,longing for their mother's breasts.Maybe a suckle is all that is needed to quench this burning flame of hunger.Yet Her men fight amongst each other,clamoring for gratification in killings and violence blinded to the real enemy who threatens to destroy their very existence.
INSPIRATION
Nigeria overtook India as the country with the largest number of people living in extreme poverty.Extreme poverty is growing by six people in every minute with an overall estimated value of 87 million people.Yet the government gets more corrupt each day and the citizens fight over religious and racial differences.Little or nothing is done for the citizen who has no food or the families who cannot carter for themselves yet we are a rich nation blessed with mineral resources and fertile vegetation.All of this breaks my heart......GOD HELP NIGERIA.
