In Between
Unsure of what to say to you that would make this clear,
Intentions misled to become casual affairs.
Looking into your eyes, searching for that feeling,
Subconsciously I fall into your gaze - this is new.
My soul divided into all I am, and all I want to be,
I surrender to the things you give me.
Caught between pictures in my mind & the feel of your love,
Uncertainty guides me back to your honesty.
Your touch can amplify every feeling I have,
But your words are the ones that melt my fevered heart.
Being cautious to do those things that make you smile,
Surprising myself once again as I didn't know that I could feel this way.
It's been too long,
And I'm gone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to view my work today. Embrace all your dreams!
If I do anything incorrect it's because I am very new to Steemit. I'm here to make some friends and look forward to seeing your feedback in the comments below!

Your words painted so eloquently a display of raw inner emotion. I believe we all experience this in life where we are attempting to make sense of what seems fragmented within self to make since in the pieces of the outer self. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your writing and look forward to more. You have a beautiful gift with words.
Thank you for such a kind compliment. I aim to add to my blog every 2 days, but today I'm coming up short of ideas. I'll endeavour to put 2 new entries in tomorrow however :)
I know the feeling. I was in a creator dry spell for a short while. But as I took some time away and just lived in the moments I regained my Steem (lol)
Liking the imagery in this poem, read it a couple times for the scenes to play out smoothly in my head, and I'm glad I did so.
Just curious about the ending though, did she lose herself in/to him?
Or was it more a darker end for her?
Thank you for your words!
Firstly, I'm glad that you like my work, I really appreciate it.
Secondly, this piece represents the emotions one would feel in an environment that is new to them. In this case, it was the subject wanting a relationship with someone rather than an affair, & thus coming to terms with the unknown feelings of sentiment & reciprocated amorousity therein, & being completely engulfed by that emotion, & the reciprocate doing nothing to alleviate the weight which was bestowed to her.
Yeah!
I love your love poems.
This is lovely.
Thanks a lot.
