There are many ways back HOME. Many are routine; some are sublime. There is another explanation for women's attitude of delaying the return, women's compulsion to "cure all, fix all". And this is an important trap formed by the demands placed on us by our own cultures, especially the pressures that we are not there doing nothing, taking up space and having fun, but that we have redeemable value. It could be said that what is required is proof that we are worthy and therefore must be allowed to live. These pressures are built into our psyche when we are very young and we are unable to have an opinion about them or resist them. They become law to us. Unless, or until, we challenge them.
