Thank you for reading and commenting. I appreciate it. I felt that "kill" was necessary in order to hold the metaphor. On the political lanscape, the ideological dominance of the jackass and the elephant leaves less established species (ideas) trampled upon. Thanks again for taking the time to read and comment.
