Day 46 - In the Woods
In the woods where the foul hide
Away from prying eyes of prey
The stench of the death causing pray
The grease of the trap sliding side
Capitalising on the hubris of pride
Just underneath uncanny layer lay
The possibility of promise slay
Never on your own in the woods stride

You know the myths and legends regardless
In the darkness of the woods, you find solace
One is always blind in the dark faceless
With hands tied behind with lace
Walk out into the light fearless
It enlightens and makes flawless

So well described ... my experience of spending a night alone in the forest made me aware of how vulnerable I am, and after that how providential I felt.
Being alone in nature has a tendency of wiping away all hubris and exposing you. Thanks for sharing
