A smile oozing with obvious intention
A betrayal so thick, jealous blood
A glint of complete ecstasy
A fallacy entrapping even the strong

The rush of blood building pressure
The high and speed of adrenaline
The thrill of unpredictability
The thirst for the unknown twist
A thousand words never capture
A million expressions to choose
The disbelief and shock
Of trust shattered and torn hearts

I try to see the appeal of betrayal
And yet, I see nothing but sickness
