Carved: Tranquility after a Storm

Emotions run high
observing the carved wood
an eternal turtle
where a tree once stood

The tree was big
taken out by a storm
strong waves and wind
out of the norm

Life has renewed
in this place
carvings on tree remains
a reminder of grace

The salt in the sea air
there is clean sand on the beach
the birds have returned
happiness within reach

Beauty has replaced
the destruction of the storm
chaos created new life
the ecosystem has been transformed

There is quiet serenity
within this land
only the sounds of waves and birds
peace as nature planned
