STANDING ON THE CROSSROAD
CROSSROAD
What is the way forward,
We were told to look forward.
Never to look backward.
We were stocked afterwards,
Nobody was willing to help,
We were helpless, just like the chicken,
In captivity of the hawk.
Roller-coaster, they term our situation.
Teeter_totter they term our condition.
Just like a stray we wander. When they advise you, look backward.
When they praise you, look backward.
When they raise you up, look downward.
It is good to be focused,
But bad to be knocked off.
We find ourselves in some situation in life where it difficult to decipher our next move or decision, most people we see as friends turn their back against us in such instances, you are left with no one but yourself. In moment like this, you meant to be careful of the idea you seek from people, people will only celebrate a successful person a mediocre is left at his/her mercy those who put you in the mess are still gonna make mockery of you.

I believe at the end of the day we only have our own back. We are our own hero 😊. Some may extend help when our boat is sinking but really you are the only person who could give the extra push to continue persevering.
