An original bengali poem: জ্ঞানের আলোয় শান্তিনিকেতন
শান্তিনিকেতনের বার্তা শুনে,
আমরা আসি মোরা তোমার দ্বারে।
সেখানে আছে নাকি
কত রকমের সাহিত্য-ভান্ডার,
আছে নাকি বিশ্বকবি
রবীন্দ্রনাথের মুক্ত হাওয়ার দ্বার।
আছে কত শান্তি, মুক্তি, স্বাধীনতার স্বাদ,
আছে কত মুক্ত হওয়ায়
দূর করা ক্রান্তিকর অবসাদ।
আমরা নবীন, নতুন জ্ঞানের আলো জ্বেলে।
আমরা আসি মোরা তোমার দ্বারে।
সকল গ্লানি মুছে,
সকল বাঁধা অতিক্রম করে,
শিখাহীন আলো জ্বেলে।
ছুটে আসি জ্ঞানের আলোয় প্রদীপ্ত হতে
আমরা আসি মোরা তোমার দ্বারে।
