A Reason To Write
No words in a while
No magic motivation to write
Doesn’t happen all that often
When it does I just can’t fight
For just a short while
Reality is shut out
I can enjoy these brief thoughts
During this time I have no doubts
Fantasies of a “movie moment”
Gives me urges to put words on paper
That one day she’ll find me at her doorstep
As I begin to date her
This full length film has run through my mind
But when I come to, I realize only seconds have passed by
It is a long journey from the intro to the end
I must admit though, it sure feels good just to pretend
