Illusions or visions?

real as it may seem
was it a vision or a dream
appearing out of nowhere
they seem to be everywhere

figures that are black or white
the black brought night
the white brought light
I avoid them despite

Illusions or are they visions
seems like a premonition
predicting the future
they seem to be sure
