Lost Poems and Dreams

Wandering the desolate sands (of the past)
to the oceans of my fears?
We can abandon fear, but
We never lose our demons
We just learn to live above them
Listening to the better angels of our nature
Although my fears had mounted against me,
There were many mountains of my own making
And valleys of days without vision
And all of perception is built on falsehoods
I do not wish to cast blame,
But there are houses that crumble
With the slightest tremble of the earth
There are those that have made homes
Of cliffs for centuries
Beings that commune with the stars
Planets that commune with beings
Plants that are messengers from outer space
The Legacy of the luminous dark
Our ancestors were wiser than they knew.
I’m looking at lyricism as coding. I’m looking for an algorithm. I’m looking to streamline ideas and be able to express them in ways that speak to directly to the core and essence of something that we all already know and that we are already connected to.
Good artists copy, Great artists steal the shit out of it
The legends fuck with reality, change the perception
The Glitz, The Grind, and Shine
Get rid of the shit that is covering your shine -
Because I’m about to spit a rhyme
Once in a dream, I asked the ever-present question of our time
“Why can’t we say something deep and have a dope ass beat?”
That’s about the when I ran out of eternal wine
When I had my last bite of this reality sandwich
When I showed up naked to lunch
And argued with Harvey on which one was mine
Reality in fits, bits and tits
We code our reality
Reality codes us
Dreamer of the dream
Hacker of perception
Programmer of inception
The call of the void
Perception is a toy
Everything is null and void
The primal deep nature of the beat of the universe
The soft low hum of the vibration of the consciousness
The eternal luminous darkness
The white light, white heat of everywhen
The unspoken experience of the abyss
My name is nameless
My title is seamless
My experience is emptiness
The felt experience of everything
The impact pulse of consciousness
The motion of sea of possibilities
Shine of the perception
Cleansing of endless everything
The detox of wine of reality
Dining At the table of infinity
Sing the songs of eternity
Get rid of the shit that is covering your shine -
Because I forgot to rhyme
The grit and grind
The wheel of time
Eternity’s palm, holding everything
Infinity never loses glitz and shine
only if you remember to grind
