"Nocturnal"

When nature plays with mortal sight,
and put their bravery to fight.
When mortal mind rest from day's plight;
and lovers, each excite.

When students their books recite,
and heathen priest perform their rite.
When wilds roam for bite;
and human heart race with freight.

When evil flare with height,
and blaze with all their might.
When demons and angels fight;
just to win heaven's favourite.
