I am not yours
Not mine either, though
I belong not to you
Myself
Nor anyone else

Is this what freedom
Feels like?

Unchained

Look atop the highest peak
The wind beneath a hawk's wings
The sunshine on your face
When you awake

I Am a shadow
In the night
I Am a bright light
In the afternoon

Find me inside yourself
In those places you dare
Not look

I Am
