what if it's a hoax
what if it's a trick
what if there's no climate change
and Alex Jones has called on it

what if its a cheat
just one more empty ruse
to squeeze what money we have left
and hand it to the super rich

what if it's a ploy
what if it's a plot
to get us used to living
like the cave is coming back

what if it's a blind
a giant double bluff
whilst we get shipped to FEMA camps
they're laughing at the bloody banks

what are they concealing
what is there in store
what science is believable
that Disney have paid for

what if it's a forgery
a devilish clever fraud
to dress the weather with intent
to drown us one and all

what if it's a sharp disguise
a case of double-dealing
that Greenpeace are the baddies
the epitome of evil

what if it's a swindle
what if it's a snare
people trapped into repeating
"well there's nothing we can do about it, is there"

our world is full of fabrications
and views based on illusions
one more lie or impending doom
who knows, well, we all might soon
