POEM: HELEN
I was inspired after reading this steemit post about Helen Mirren (https://steemit.com/helenmirren/@elewarne/advice-from-a-great-actress-of-this-century)
She took a stand...
While sitting on the chair
Nailed to the front porch
That harbored a
Bruised view
She made amends...
And learned how to
Not pretend
And speak and sway
To a vibe that was true
She had her sites...
With clothes for kites
And beds for mites
She resisted
To status quo waste
She paid the price...
By saying "no" and "go"
Timing her curses
So her soul
Shined and was sewn
In the hearts of the unfurled
Nice one! Love Helen Mirren @rubenalexander
