POEM: EGG 🍳
EGG I.
From eggshell airliners
To trash box diners
Time is a miner
Springing up the finer
Aspects of you
As grass passes due
To the air of truth
Taken or granted
EGG II.
I go hunting for worlds
Little egg environs
I crush some under sole
Others, I basket
As my feet leave trails
Of possibility
I crack open plastic
To see eternity
I take the weight
Of the ways before me
And carry the core
Of the chore of being
And those so quick
To dismiss what they see
Still struggle with the hidden
Aspects we heave
EGG III.
Crack, stir
Add no salt
Ramsey tolerates
No failure or fault
Pour into a pan
Tilt and stir
The chef with blonde hair
Is full of words
Perfect soft
Like a protein cloth
Eat for health or strength
And slay your inner sloth
When done add oregano
Cheese or pepper
Enjoy the warmth of flavor
