If you can cry tears, and yet; smile

If you can bear a loss, and yet; carry on

If you can grow weary, and yet; strive on

If you can fail, and yet; persevere

If you can lose loved ones, and yet; overcome grief

If you can fall, and yet; rise

If you can get discouraged, and yet; push on

If you can live with hurt, and yet; forgive

If you can lose your way, and yet; find your bearing

If you can miss a step, and yet; find your feet

If you can waver in faith, and yet; stand firm

If you can seethe with anger, and yet; find inner peace

If you can crash, and yet; pick yourself

If you can stumble, and yet; aim high

If you can get distracted, and yet; re-focus

If you can endure hardship, and yet; have hope

If you can suffer betrayal, and yet; give love

If you can panic with fear, and yet; proceed undaunted

If you can wait in vain, and yet; not give up

If you can struggle with addiction, and yet; fight for salvation

If you can battle the odds, and yet; emerge unscathed

If you can weep in silence, and yet; sing for joy

If you can fail to win, and yet; hold your head high

If you can screw up, and yet; make a change

If you can waste a chance, and yet; earn reprieve

If you can wobble with doubt, and yet; take a stand
