Songs to Say Water 5 Trout Stream

This is the last poem in my book , "Songs To Say". I hope you have enjoyed reading them and we can all meet at the trout stream to dip in and find what we are given.

Trout Stream

Sometimes when you are just sitting…
Looking at the floor
Or lying on your bed,
Or listening to friend,
You get this feeling
That there is some kind of
River or stream
That’s running through
Your mind,
And you dip in
And get some
Words for a piece of paper,
And you feel like it’s over for awhile
And you feel like you are part of some
Great thing that a lot of people have been into…
They had to write it down too…
Part of it was theirs,
You got another part.
And someday…
Somebody will, Or everybody will---
Put it all together, and they’ll
Look at it,
And it will be like Moses
Coming off the mountain,
And some of the people around will
Probably have a golden calf,
That they think is just as authentic,
But you have felt its’ flow---
You dipped in and took a little out,
And put it down for the people to see.
