Short Poem
Deep blue shimmers in oceans blue
Lost in my mind as it searches for you.
Images the fail to break the surface
Marking the years of fruitless service.
It cannot be taken back
It cannot be what it lacks.
We are meant to follow what lies within
Destined to attain that which we've never been.
