Smiling Eyed Friend
Eyes dancing
sparkles shooting like star-shine
wry smiles
you jest and tease
my laughter is born.
Sunny visits with coffee
and strong gin;
Beers and cigerettes
rolled lightly
pressed between talking lips
like old momento's
stored in a dusty attic....
Jest onward
playing serious lines
stories new and old
whispered gab
and light dinners
served warm
made from the heart...
