The Choice of the Gods
To be beset all around by failure is not reason to worry;
To live day in day out with tears is no crime.
The one for whom the gods chose greatness, must tarry;
Waiting deep under the constrains of time.
The clattering crowds leaves him behind;
The ones behind are now before his sight;
But know,do the gods, what they do.
All they plan is in a gear so good.
He cries out and loud under the pains;
The struggles and hardness knows no ease.
But when he thinks he should end the pains;
And take himself out of the way;
He receives the message from the elders;
Don't quit yet! The game is on.
It's not enough to want to hang your boots;
When the going gets tough and life is rough;
When the tides and waves beset the ship about.
Hang in there cowboy,the gods know their moves.
You are right where you needed be;
You have all you ever will need to be.
The path of the chosen is chosen. His destiny is destined.
Through fire and oceans,walk he must,to be made pure.
For to reach the divine heights, you must descend inwardly.
Purity of heart and genuineness of soul is all they need;
To see through you like a block of glass do they desire.
Until you reach your brink,stop,they won't to push you.
Until you stand out in service and responsibility;
Until then will men see you;chosen of the gods.
