The life of the lover

He screams as he bleeds

And he cries out in pain


She is the darkness

And never responds

as he reaches for her in vain


She can not feel him

She can not see

All he does without wane


He tears through silence

Dimensions apart

Throwing sparks from his flame


Time out of time

With eternity he has her

They're one and the same
