Spiral Rose Poem

A few weeks ago, I was thinking about writing a poem with the words spiraling around.  I wasn't sure if they should spiral outward from the center, or spiral inward, but I was thinking it would be cool to combine them with a piece of artwork - painting or drawing - of a rose.  I was imagining the words of the poem spiraling like rose petals.

So, I went looking for an app, or a program that would put words into a spiral.  And, I found one!

You can visit the website and play around with your own spiral.  There are other word art templates, too - like a heart, waves, and others.

I wrote a little poem to try out the spiral template:

~ Spiral Rose Poem ~

Folded up with petal inside petal.

Wrapped in spirals twirling swirling inward.

Neatly nesting velvet swatches of silky softness.

Sweetly scented sensations of special hints of romance.

Pressed together, inviting one to look closer.

Stop and smell the roses.

I think it's pretty cool.  I'm still hoping to figure out how to put it together in the shape of a rose. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!!
