Hera i called her
Her beauty unrivaled, no one on par
She was the sun to my blue sky
In her warmth i would bask anytime i took flight
She was also the last stroke that broke my camel's back

I remember it clearly
The day she said it so plainly
With no sense of remorse
"Zeus, it's over"
Never have the world been so quiet as it echoed through the air
My Sun turned black
I lost sight
I lost flight
An Angel fell
I fell

I refused to believe it
I laughed, i said it was a joke
But inside i was torn to bits
She insisted on it
My knees could not hold me
I laughed excessively but tears rolled down my eyes

I applauded her
Love they said was beautiful
Half told truth
Incomplete fairy tales that had lead innocent hearted angels to their doom
