LOVE STRUCK

Penning down my thoughts...this should be fun
Maybe it will reflect what's true or not
Can't say my mind is where my heart is
But I know that to move on, I'd have to choose
I could sit for days...thinking
Trying to make a choice
...not just a choice
But one that would knit our hearts together
I've been so scared to plunge into the pool of love or affection and it's sort
Now I'm at this bridge
To scared to cross it....to scared to let go
Ohhh!!! I pray thee
Help me in this hour of despair
My fragile heart beating
My fickle mind ticking as fast as the second hand on the clock
Do I let it tick on or do I pull the plugs?
Help, I pray thee
Like the wind, whisper a soft truth
Save me from my heart and fears...
