Pretending
Pretending
It's just my way to forget you
Act like you're my enemy
I want you to stay away
Because I have not been able to bury those memories
In your eyes I might hate you so much
But know it that I still miss you
Even we are in a different room
My longing locked in selfishness
And finally I let my longing buried in silence
Understand this is my way of turning away from you
Thank you for giving hope and left wounds
It hurt but will recover in the end
Do not be angry, because this feeling will always be there

Interwoven affection can not be forced. It could be someone pretending to be loving but in that way someday he will grimace.
I followed you. Don't forget to follow me back.
good post....
These are very powerful words. The aching that comes with having to pretend to hate and be an enemy to someone you deeply desire is heartbreaking. We see this happening all over the world amid lovers and ex-lovers nowadays. Transparency and being more open is what we need as a race, at aleast when it comes to loving. Thank you for sharing this thought-provoking poem!
