Travels

Nostalgic dreams of home
Of loved ones far away
Thoughts of exciting ventures,
Exotic spots unseen.

Over highways and freeways
Through forests deep and wide,
Polluted towns and cities,
And countries clean and nice.

Hills and mountains,
Streams and fountains,
Dusty plains
And pristine countries.

Rumbling, rumbling,
Moving, moving.
Time a-passing,
Distance closing.

Dreams of home soon to be lived
Loved ones now close at hand,
Exotic spots will soon be glimpsed
Adventures have begun.
