Seeds Of Change (original poetry & photography from perceptualflaws)

I wrote this poem at the weekend, whilst enjoying the hazy sun at a remote local beach. The picture is mine but it was taken elsewhere.

Seeds Of Change

Deserted shore of daydreams
laughter on the breeze
speckled rays
of autumn sun
that dance across the seas

Within the sea of mystery
life remains entwined
but only those
with open eyes can see
that we are blind

Blinded by illusions
and the resonance
of greed
but a heart forever open
gives birth
to many seeds

Seeds of compassion
that grow in
the sun
seeds of understanding
that we breathe
as one

One voice and one
truth
that sings out so clear
but sings only to
those that are
able to hear

Thank you for reading and leaving such a great comment @sarmizegetusa it's much appreciated. And yes I agree completely, we're taught to learn via external influences but true knowledge comes from within and radiates out.
