The decline in the spiritual health of the church.
Preaching affects time, prayer affects eternity
Too many dead men in the pulpit
Too many dead sermons
To too many dead people
Causing too many lurch.

Alter fires are either out or burning very low
We are more fond of traveling than travailing
Secret of praying is praying in secret
A sinning man will stop praying
A praying man will stop sinning

Many organisers, but few agonisers
Many writers, but few readers
Much fashion, little passion
Many payers, few prayers
Fail here, failing everywhere

Got any river you think are uncrossable
God is specialised in things thought impossible
We there is situation you feel you can't go through
He can do what no other power can do.
