The sun goes down on another day
Good, bad or indifferent as it may
Your conscience echo's your reward
With sounds of silence, so untoward

You see others who share your vision
The purpose in life's blind revision
An act of gratitude, despite having little
A tender hand as you work out the riddle

Your purpose, not for self
But to make a difference to someone else
A simple act, be it by night
That silently spreads that ray of light

On earth demons lie in wait
Never be gullible, don't take the bait
Now is your moment to shine
And share all that is divine
