DEATH- A WRINKLE IN LIFE SPENT(An Original Verse for a Late Friend)

The fastest cannot out run the wind,
Neither can the slowest waste the time to live.
In a gust, in the midst of tranquillity,
Lies the old and ancient Mountains,
The Sea and the desert
All waiting for the passing time
To take them into the shadows.

All shall fade
By the edge of knife or by Natural substance.
Those who live still would die
And the dead lives in the after life
Waiting for eternity and judgement

Believe or disbelief
There is something coming greater than death.
Its coming for the old and the infants,
For the bravest and the wisest.
The prudent and the sloth.
It taketh the wicked and the kind.

Where would you spend your eternity?
If and when the 'ultimate' happens?
The Ultimate that takes the infant and spare the mother,
Taking the strong and leaving the weak.
Snatching the fathers from their daughters,
And detaching families far apart.

Death where is thy sting?
Grave where is thy power?
The judgement we all face,
Death and Hades have their share,
In the great sorting,
Of good from evil.

To the departed ones,
And the ones already in the great beyond,
We are all coming,
Its just a matter of when and how,
Find peace and solace,
Till the judgement day.
When the saints shall gather.
