This feeling of not doing enough, I couldn't shake off
I wished I had done enough, from the take off
I wished this could be a dream, so I could wake up
A very wonderful challenge I would gladly take up
I don't want to sugar coat anything - no make up
I wished I had stayed all night maybe praying up
I couldn't help but think I didn't do enough to change it
I got my answer finally and how relieved that was for me
We often rely so much on what we can do, yes
Hoping we can force God's hands to work our ways
We don't pray to change His will, no, not at all
We pray to change us and bring us into alignment with His will
I thought if I had prayed more maybe that would have changed
How come some pray few lines and God heard?
It has never been in the multitude of your words
It is all about His faithfulness and what He wills
You receive by faith, yes, but His will is ultimate
Having faith in Him is to trust Him even when things go south
Not only by changing a terrible situation alone
