When they try to put you down
When they see you as a clown
When they spread false news across the town
When they see you walk and they give a frown
Even kick you to the curb around the lawn
Learn never to become the person who hurts you
Know they don't hate you, they are just afraid of you
So learn to do things better than them
I know it takes serious effort to overlook
Especially when you can't see any basis
For all their seeming hatred and insecurities
You need to learn to leave them where they belong
Very soon, they will blow your praise with a gong
Leave them to the things that they do
While you focus on being the best you can be
Learn, always learn to do things better than them
Give pearls to the pigs and it would go dirty
Try to become like them and you stoop so low
Trying to be like them, you will lose your glow
Let your silence strike in them a deadly blow
This is reality and I hope you catch my flow?
Silence is golden when you can't think of an answer
Even when you can, don't play dirty with pigs
They will beat you to it, so learn to be better
