Flower Love...

Love me like a you love a flower,
light and water give me power,

Hold me gently in your hand,
but leave me be in the land,

If you cut me from my stem,
share me quick a dying gem,

love the earth where I belong,
soon you’ll hear a sweeter song,

I too can move from my spot,
as feeling wind sails a yacht,

warming yes, golden hum,
change is here, beating drum,

so thank you for this juicy flow,
thank you for the way you grow.
