RE: Reflecting on the 100-day Poetry Challenge - Going Old-School [Day #7]
I totally get what you are saying. Quality over quantity. Maybe there could be like a every other day for the next 100 days or something because I am coming to the same plateau! I don’t want to not have time for my life and also other posts I would really like to write. Then again I suppose that’s why it’s called a CHALLENGE yeah? It is a task that continues to test our limits. Our dedication and also our resolve. Talent and the ability to write good poems.. well that will probably show in our writing . I am undecided but will keep going till I drop dead.
Yes, it's totally up to the individual. I like this challenge, as it also challenged me to rethink why I wanted to join this challenge in the first place. So I'm also still continuing and making myself write a poem every day. And I'm very glad I have allowed myself to not feel forced to follow any other rules for it, or to have to 'produce' something publishable within a day. Or even two days.
Any limitation on creativity kills most of it. Or kills the part I like to evoke through this challenge...
Best of luck to you!
