Stagnate love, stumbling feet.
Burning desires on my tongue, an aftertaste of lust.
Your happiness resides at the bottom of a bottle,
Mine in between your teeth.
Each breath inhaled leaves an intoxication of madness, oozing beautiful melodies in between soaked sheets.

An addiction tempted by an empty starvation,
Each one revealing the truth behind the label.
Your mind begins to play tricks, dyslexia.
Instead of reading Corona your eyes now see Corruption.
Somehow Apple Ale is Adultery.
Is that Blue Moon or Depression?
There's the man at the bar who had too many shots,
shouting at the static TV because he can't see the Yankees hit a home run.

Fast forward 5 years and the single mother at the end of the suburb is taking shots because she can no longer handle her debt.
Slumped in the couch of insecurities
Being consumed by the fabrics of society
Spewing injustices in between a stranger's lips and a bottle of vodka.
Each bottle of liquor holds at different tale of everyone's destruction.

Alcoholism
A man carries a brief case, not to impress an industry, but to hide his intake of false witnesses.
Fooling those around him
His breath covered in pain.
An all consuming fire, he weeps.
Sobriety is an unimaginable task
the only word he speaks;
Alcoholism.
