Love the dark, fear the light,
Deep in my heart the night takes flight.

Insane dreams and wild thoughts,
Deep in sin how the soul consorts.

As tumbling by the days go past,
Losing all control at the very last.

Violent grasp of venomous bites,
Through our spirit we seek respite.

A mortal fight, let heavens unfold,
True faithful come forth and be bold.

Ashes red form a bloody brew,
Much less well known to me and you.

Let’s calm our minds and break bread,
So we achieve some sanctuary and peace instead.
