I too find refuge in films and books, and of course music, all kinds of music. I found it a bit paradoxical that one could declare his love for the luxurious life and also find passion for unravelling the truths in life, however, I find myself in a similar dilemma. I want it all, comfort and the ability to excavate the wounds that gnaw at my person and that of other persons.

Truth means stepping out of ones comfort zone. It hurts because most people cannot handle the truth. The poets job, however, is to go where most are loath to go. You have delved into that world, kudos.
