I agree about perfectionism. In it's extreme, it is actually ego-based to be too much of a perfectionist, as it is usually mostly anxiety that their art will not be appreciated if it's not 'good enough.'.
It creates stagnation, which is counterproductive to the creative person's life and livelihood.
As the old martial arts idiom powerfully states,

"Worry is the rust upon the blade."


And you're right about consistency too, in that we now live in the digital era and people respond to regularity, so commiting to creating and posting to a particular schedule is more important than worrying whether it's good enough. fans/supporters become used to when you release something and have the expectation. If you're not consistent, they'll lose interest.
That being said, each of us should raise the bar of our standards with every single creation. If we're not, then we're being lazy and we aren't growing as artists and as content creators.
