The Saga of the Dark Prince ~ Prologue

How his curse began no one knows
A wealthy Count banished to seclusion
Dark ruler of a demon realm
A masterful creature of illusion

Others within the spirit dimension
Say his burden began with an omen
One who conjures the darkest forces
His lifeblood was then duly stolen

A Lord discontent with mortality
An unfortunate stray from humanity
An unequivocal trade for supremacy
Exalting oneself above the Almighty

The Count’s refusal to relinquish
Nightly macabre rituals his endless bane
The unrelenting hunger for sustenance
A loathsome sacrifice to supremely reign

Lust for power has cost him dearly
His soul the lofty price he had to pay
Hurled into damnation his eternal exile
Cursed forever to never see the light of day!
