Clouds in the Desert

When we look at our world,
It seems we live in a desert,
Engulfed by the heat of loneliness and greed.
But above this sun burnt desert,
Hang some soft, beautiful clouds,
White, bright and promising.
Soon, the clouds will pour out its love,
With droplets of peace and unity,
Drops of generosity and kindness,
It shall send upon our sun burnt desert.
Little by little, blades of grass will spring forth,
And with the continuous fall of these magic drops,
More and more grass will bloom.
Soon, the dry, hot sand will be covered by a carpet,
A carpet of grass from which flowers sprouts,
Flowers of joy and happiness.
With time, the desert will turn into a magnificent garden,
One from which everyone can enjoy,
Especially when the hot sand of greed has been driven away forever.
