with envy about flying

the birds get high in the sky
where nobody
can see them
how they get drunk
with the perfume of freedom
they still have that wild passion
to scream their pain out
where
nobody can hear them
this is how they have women’s innocence
to think
they have not been cheated on
this is how birds are
deceived to believe
they won’t ever forget to fly
