The Stages I've Been Through, When I Lost You.

03:21 I'm still wide awake—my egos are in chaos.

How can I not know those voices from long ago?
Those whispers of lies slowly drowned my soul;
Denied the truths with gross details,
Hoping that the remaining innocence prevails.


As I try to understand the never ending whys,
I didn't notice that I'm only adding fuel to the fire
Anger took the best out of me,
I was burned til I can't breathe.


My broken heart cried and screamed,
Down on my knees, I plead;
I felt ashamed for my wishful Bargaining,
'Why can't it be me, I was with you from the beginning?"


I can't protect myself from these sorrows
I didn't want to wake up to see tomorrow;
Depressed and desperate to let go,
Reality has been my nightmare and no one knows.


Staring at the vast night sky—breathing.,
The moon shone back, t'was my silver lining;
Acceptance was the key to my freedom,
Gone are the past, but I gained life's wisdom.


Just when I thought I'm done and had moved on.
I realized that the whole Stages was just an illusion;
Acceptance was part of Denial and it flows,
At 03:21 I woke up and again my egos are in chaos.
