Poetry Challenge

Is it possible
to write a poem
every day

I don't know
even once a month
it's hard to think
of things to say

Why push myself
when the words won't come
and the thoughts
won't stay

It's a challenge
to make myself think
every day I rise
I feel on the brink

In a world gone mad
sometimes these words
are my only link
