One

There is the earth,
In the earth, there is the world,
In the world, there are continents,
In the continents, there are countries,
In the countries, there are states,
In the states, there are capitals,
In the capitals, there are cities,
In the cities, there are towns,
In the towns, there are societies,
In the societies, there are communities,
Altogether, are meant for us all,
Africans, Asians, Europeans and the likes,
It was built to accommodate us all,
To live with and for one another,
To protect one another,
And to love one another unconditionally.
But we prefer to be divided. Why?
Why do we choose to discriminate?
Why do we choose to hate one another?
We gave ourselves names,
Black, white, monkey, yellow monkey,
When we are not colours or animals,
This was not why we were created
Or given rich natural resources,
Not to oppress one another,
Not to keep hatred in our hearts against our fellow human beings.
We are all created differently,
But are unique in our different ways of life.
That is why the earth is built so big to accommodate us all,
So big to live freely without fear or hurting one another,
So we could learn to know more about ourselves,
So that we could tolerate one another's behavior,
But we've let our greediness, selfishness, hatred, covetousness get the best of us.
I pray thee!!
Let peace reign, leave wars to its abode,
Purge your hearts and have a new pure heart
Embrace love, forsake hatred,
And together we will stand forever.
