Hi, poetry lovers.
I’ve translated the poem I published yesterday in order to submit it to #FridayPoets by @prydefoltz.

Time
What was there before the beginning,
before alpha, before zero,
previous to infinite?
A Now made of wind which is leaving us already,
the movement of the fine hand
in this mockery trying to frame moments.
The watch tied to the wrist
controls the body and the mind,
but time easily proves it a fool.
That moment to come is already here;
the wind has brought it several times now.
It is a banal pretension, Petitio principii.
The wind, like air, like the river, like time
flows in circles, attached to the earth,
like a serpent biting its own tail.
...It keeps going on, confined to its geometry,
denied of Heaven,
in eternal penitence for Babel.

Excellent poetic approach on the circularity of time. Philosophical reflections that show us a vision to the eternal questions about the movement of life and the behavior of the forces that regulate it.
Very good, @marlyn. I loved the treatment of the subject images.
Eternal questions, indeed. How wonderful should it be when we're presented with the answer, or how terrible!
Thanks, dear @zeleiracordero ♥
Wonderful philosophical piece. I for one believer there has always been something ... even if it is just this moment:)
That's a nice thought. Time is a most interesting source of questioning.
Thanks for the reading and comment, @prydefoltz ♥
