Lifelong Puzzle

Yesterday, there were no problems to deal with
and no burdens to share,
no things to think about
no reasons to stare.

No tears needed
for life was so grand,
but it doesn't always work
just as planned we planned.

Each day is a puzzle piece
connected with love and hate,
and we never know what's next,
it's all up to our fate.

So when you look back at yesterday
and remember how it was all so much fun,
wait patiently, because the good times
have only just begun.

So let the hands of fate
continue to bring on what's next,
for later the puzzle shall be complete
and we no longer will be so perplexed.
