Salt Grave
“You took that turn again!”
The ocean vast and dark – swells cold and pulls.
“It only hurts at first and then I’m in your lungs aquatic.”
Salty undertaker.
Lurching sting.
“Remember how long I kept you last,
how you swayed like the great sea grass?
"Remember the time of saline tears
and how my expanse swallowed them gone?”
Sink.
Sunk.
Intriguing. Spooky.
Thank you kindly, @coldsteem.
I love spooky, in an intriguing way. ;)
This brought my senses to full attention! Splendid write! <3
<3 Thank you, Tina. I really like playing dialog through a poetic filter.
Awesome work, I love the darkness of it.
Thank you kindly.
I was in a rather strange mood, a place I like to write from. :)
I felt that in a deep place in my heart, gorgeous poem. Thank you for sharing. I hope you are inspired to write many more for us to read.
@lifemovedbysteem, what a wonderful thing to say -- truly, thank you. <3
